Meet the Lawyer

Nora Galindo is an immigration attorney who has dedicated her legal career to the practice of immigration law. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), where she studied Sociology and Spanish—an academic foundation that continues to inform her client-centered, culturally competent approach to advocacy.

Ms. Galindo went on to attend the Robert H. McKinney School of Law in Indianapolis, Indiana, graduating second in her class in 2016. Since graduating law school, she has practiced immigration law without interruption, representing individuals and families in complex and often high-stakes matters. She is deeply passionate about immigration law and has long known that she could not imagine practicing any other area of law, given its profound human impact and the opportunity to effect meaningful change in the lives of her clients.

Ms. Galindo is licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Indiana, the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky (pro hac vice). She is also a proud member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), through which she remains actively engaged in ongoing education and developments in immigration law.

Her commitment to this work is also deeply personal. Ms. Galindo is a survivor of domestic violence, an experience that has shaped her understanding of vulnerability, resilience, and the critical importance of compassionate, trauma-informed legal representation. She is also married to an immigrant, giving her a direct and personal connection to the immigrant community and a firsthand understanding of the challenges families face navigating the U.S. immigration system.

Above all, Ms. Galindo is the proud mother of three young boys, who are the center of her world and her greatest motivation. She brings the same dedication, care, and determination she has for her family to every client she represents, advocating fiercely while never losing sight of the human story behind each case.
